The 60′ Viking Cockpit Sports Yacht was offered with an 820HP MAN engine package which was considered “under powered”, the 1030 HP MAN engine package which cruises around 24-25 knots with a maximum speed of about 30 knots. Viking also offered the MAN 1200 HP engine package which although will get an additional 2 knots at the top end, many considered that for the extra fuel that it sucks down, it wasn’t worth the additional 2 knots at the top end.
